| Abstract: An Italian
company is looking for recycling technologies and
techniques that can be applied to track isothermal unit.
Taking into account European measures (2000/53/CE)
boosting the recycling of materials generated by trucks
and vehicles dismissing, the company is interested in
technologies that are already available.

| Description: An Italian
company manufacturing truck refrigeration units
(isothermal body units) is looking for efficient
recycling techniques/technologies able to guarantee the
re-utilization of at least 75% of materials forming the
structure of the isothermal units.
The production line generates different typology of waste
materials. Even more important, in the process of
dismissing old track refrigeration units, large slides of
isothermal materials are to be recycled. The dismissing
process currently available determinates high costs for
waste treatment and do not allow the re-utilisation of
components.
The sought innovation shall be able to separate the
greatest typology of materials and recycle each of them
separately. Recycling techniques/technologies shall allow
a reduction of dismissing costs

requirements:
Materials that are to be processed in the recycling
process include: polyurethane, glass fibre , wood, iron,
aluminium , polyester resins.
