Brokerage Event - Supporting technologies for the Robotics Industry

Brief Description

Within CLAWAR 2003, the 6th International Conference on "Climbing and Walking Robots" organised by the EC GROWTH, that will be held in Catania, Italy, on , MEDIA IRC, as one of the official sponsoring bodies together with the University of Catania, is going to arrange a Brokerage Event on "Supporting technologies for Robotics Industry".

Since the interest in climbing and walking robots has increased over recent years, a significant research and development effort towards these new sophisticated machines has been undertaken. It concerns embedded technologies (for actuators, sensors, information systems), advanced design methods, adapted control techniques for highly redundant systems, as well as operational and decision autonomy and human/robot co-existence, artificial intelligence and measurement and optical technologies.
CLAWAR 2003 conference offers to research and industrial actors of the international community the opportunity to report their experience thus creating the bases for further development in this domain.

The aim of the Brokerage Event is to collect technology requests and offers that, after been inserted in a specific catalogue, will be distributed to all conference participants. This will give companies the opportunity to arrange a series of bilateral meetings that will be held during the Brokerage Event
